Stretching and strength techniques with an emphasis on breathing and relaxation (B,I,A)
Yoga is a mind body practice combining a wide variety of physical postures called Asanas with mindfulness and deep breathing.
Participants use a yoga mat and may also use blocks or straps to modify some of the poses.
Yoga increases strength, flexibility and improves balance and posture, reduces stress, and helps regulate blood pressure among a multitude of other benefits.
Classes range from beginner through advanced and modifications and options are given to allow participants to work at their own level.
