I’m a Rowan University graduate with a BS in Exercise Science. In my four years I competed as a collegiate level swimmer, receiving 4 All-American titles. Having an athletic background has helped to spark my passion for health, training, and motivating others to achieve success. My goal is to use the knowledge I have gained to empower others in achieving their personal health & fitness goals. I enjoy working with all ages and levels of experience.

The gym has been part of my lifestyle for over 20 years.  After years of only lifting weights, I've discovered so many other options that not only energize you, push you past your limits, but also allow you to have fun while doing so.  Spin offers that for me so I decided to share that passion with others.

 

 

Rose Spik

Personal fitness trainer 

 

Rose Spik has been a certified fitness instructor for 12 years and started her professional fitness career as an aerobics instructor teaching both step and kickboxing.

 

In 2005 Rose took a yoga training workshop through YogaFit and fell in love with the practice of yoga. She started incorporating yoga into her aerobic routines and started teaching yoga exclusively in 2006. She has continued her yoga training through YogaFit, AFAA and AAAI-ISMA as well as self study through reading and taking classes. Rose is working toward her goal of becoming a Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance. She is an avid runner and loves coming to the gym to take kickboxing classes.

 

Rose and her husband Gary enjoy cycling the trails of Kent Island from their home in Love Point and are the parents of two wonderful daughters, Iris and Lily.

 

Heather Tranquill

I have been teaching and training at Club One since 2008. I have taught classes in Spin, Pump, Iron Pump, Step, Chair Dance and Pilates.

 

I currently hold certifications in Strength Conditioning & Weight Training, Personal Trainer I, Sports Nutrition, Primary Aerobics and Mat Pilates Levels 1, 2 & 3. If you ask me what I like to do best in the gym, I would have to say Strength Training.

 

I enjoy lifting weights and try hard to encourage women to develop confidence in working with strength training equipment. My sports resume includes Gymnastics, Soccer, Equestrian (English), Lacrosse, Figure Skating/Ice Dancing, Golf and Triathlon.

Growing up in Hawaii, fitness was always a way of life, from having to walk to and from school everyday or hiking with my friends on the weekend. My sports resume includes M.S. and H.S. cheerleading and H.S. Track. I truly realized that I was in love with fitness after I had my first daughter Jy’Zella-Leilani. I woke up every morning put her in the stroller and walked up and down the hills of Hawaii. Now 3 kids later we all love hiking the trails of Kent Island together or Mt. Hooiberg! I hope that I can show you too that fitness can be a way of life not only physically, but mentally as well and get you started on your lifetime journey or give you that encouragement that you may need if you are seasoned!
