I’ve been a competitive swimmer for over 50 years. I compete in open water and pool races on the local, national and international stage. I love teaching swimming and specialize in adults at any level, especially those who cannot swim. I also work with children that can already swim and want to work on strokes, with a goal toward swim team competition.

Certified Lifeguard & Swim Instructor
My favorite thing about teaching is simply working with the kids. I love seeing their progress, their love to learn, and their joy when they realize they can do something or have improved. I think my biggest strength is being able to adjust my teaching style depending on the kid and how fast they can learn. Being able to change how I explain and talk about something for one kid versus another in one lesson, all at once has taught me a lot. It has also been incredibly beneficial when I’m working with kids of multiple different age groups.
